The trailer contains:
- A stand alone power system (batteries, inverter, regulator etc.) with energy supplied by solar panels and a wind turbine.
- Educational equipment – solar cooker, solar oven, model solar hot water system, solar pump, electric bike, solar water purifier, energy efficiency display.
- Liquid crystal screen and DVD player to show excerpts of climate change and sustainability documentaries.
- Educational resources (posters, CD Roms, videos).
- Energy Efficient Light Display
Visits are available in two (2) formats. Either …
1. Day visits with Numinbah Valley EEC staff running
the educational programme.
or
2. Bookings of up to one (1) week with school staff trained in the implementation of the programme.
School visits are sponsored by Gold Coast City Council for 2007.
